….when a savvy trio of international economic development professionals combined their expertise in agribusiness, land tenure and governance, and monitoring and evaluation to create DeGA. We share a passion for using rigorous research, analysis and results orientation to deliver practical, no nonsense solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

We focus on land governance and tenure and agribusiness as these are key drivers of poverty reduction, gender equality, and economic growth. We emphasize monitoring and evaluation as the key complement to measure and ensure investments are generating the intended benefits. We aim to tackle a clear gap in Land and Agriculture projects, where the lack of specialized knowledge and skill can lead to shortcomings in project design, poor quality M&E, and challenges in performance management.

Through DeGA, we offer our clients an alternative: we apply our multi-sector expertise to offer clients tailored, evidence based solutions. We are seasoned experts with research, policy and on the ground experience on our respective fields.
